Anya is an experienced freelance writer and editor with cognate education in Media and Social Psychology. Born and bred in Germany she spent the past 5 years in Australia, working and writing for a wide array of arts organizations and magazines. After spending 6 months in Cambodia, she decided to move back to Berlin where she’s now working as an online journalist and freelance contributor.

Apart from her 9-5 persona Anya is a self-confessed book-nerd and has a soft spot for all things pretty in print. She considers herself a vagabond who loves to explore foreign countries and to pick up stories on the road. At the same time Anya likes hanging out at home with good food and great company, reading classics and day-dream of glamorous, Gatsby-style eras. She also has an ‘unhealthy’ obsession with Kindersurprise, cozy coffee shops, matt-glossy magazines and vintage items with a story to tell.
